Two candidates, four residences
Oregon Rep. Knute Buehler of Bend, the Republican nominee for governor, was recently accused of elections violations for failing to report that he had moved to Tualatin.
The Oregon Secretary of State's Office ultimately dismissed the complaint. Buehler does have an apartment in Tualatin, but he also has his main residence in Bend and is registered to vote in Deschutes County.
Buehler isn't the only candidate with two homes.
Gov. Kate Brown keeps a residence at the governor's mansion, Mahonia Hall, in Salem and has her house in Southeast Portland. Brown and her husband, Dan Little, are no longer registered to vote in Multnomah County. Their voter registrations are with Marion County, according to that county's elections office. That's also the county where Brown lists her address in her candidate filing for the general election Nov. 6.
