Out of third parties, Pacific Greens had best voter turnout

Democrats and Republicans had nearly equal turnout during last month's midterm election, according to officials statistics from the Secretary of State.

Other political parties had a lower showing.

Among third parties, Pacific Greens had the highest turnout at 73 percent.

Turnout was 70.5 percent for Independents, 69 percent for Progressives, 64 percent for Libertarians, 61 percent for Constitution Party members, 47.5 percent for nonaffiliated and 45 percent for Working Families.
