Ten numbers that illustrate some of this week’s big, and small, Oregon political stories:

• 101: Measure number assigned the health care referendum, which was certified for the ballot Monday.

• $150 million: Size of a grant approved in 2003 by the state of Oregon available for an MLB stadium in Portland. That grant is still available, according to The Oregonian, and is back in the news amid refreshed talks that major league baseball could expand to the Rose City.

• 16: Hours difference between Tokyo and Salem, leading to jet lag that Oregon Gov. Kate Brown was battling at Tuesday’s State Land Board meeting after returning from a trade mission to Asia.

• 2: Family members U.S. Rep. Greg Walden, R-Ore., is paying with campaign funds, according to reporting this week by Willamette Week.

• $538 million: Size of real estate portfolio in the state’s Common School Fund.

• 3,800: Jobs Oregon lost in September.

• 7: “Kingdoms” the Oregon State Archives has divided the state into for the purposes of a new exhibit and open house Saturday.

• 1: Percent sales tax that the City of Ontario imposed by ordinance Sept. 26. A group of citizens in the Malheur County outpost successfully petitioned earlier this month to refer the tax to the ballot in May 2018.

• 2,000: Trout the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will release into Mt. Hood Pond for a family fishing event in Gresham on Saturday.

• $1.5 million: Annual compensation, including salary and other benefits, for Joe Robertson, M.D., MBA, president of Oregon Health & Science University, as of March, according to the Lund Report. Robertson, among the highest-paid public officials in Oregon, announced his retirement this week.
