Former Oregon Congressman Kurt Schrader joined the Washington, D.C.-based law and lobbying firm Williams & Jensen as one of the principals. Schrader, who represented the 5th Congressional District, was defeated for re-election in last year’s Democratic primary election.
State Treasurer Tobias Read named Ryan Mann as executive director of the Oregon Treasury Savings Network, a division of the Oregon State Treasury. Mann had been Read’s deputy chief of staff.
Keeble Giscombe is the new director of the Homeownership Division at Oregon Housing and Community Services. He previously worked for the Oregon Youth Authority and the Department of Corrections.
Brian Crise is the new electrical chief for the state Building Codes Division. His experience in the electrical industry includes code development, inspection, management and training. Crise replaces Keith Anderson, who retired in March.
Melanie Wadsworth moved to the Oregon Broadband Office as GIS analyst. She had been GIS coordinator for the state fire marshal.
