F-15C jets of Oregon Air National Guard flyover schedule for Memorial Day

- F-15C Eagle jets of the Oregon Air National Guard will fly over several Memorial Day events on Monday, May 29.
F-15C Eagle fighter jets of the Oregon Air National Guard will fly over several locations in the state on Monday, Memorial Day, military officials said Friday.
The 142nd Wing operating out of the Portland Air National Guard Base, adjacent to Portland International Airport, will pass over ceremonies in northwest Oregon and southwest Washington.
The flyovers are “a way for us to pay tribute to American patriots who paid the ultimate sacrifice and their families,” said Oregon Air National Guard Col. Todd Hofford, the 142nd Wing commander. “It is an honor to protect and defend the Pacific Northwest and the freedoms which allow us to spend time with our loved ones on this national holiday.”
Fly-over schedule on May 29, Memorial Day:
10:45 a.m. Willamette National Cemetery, Portland
10:49 a.m. Mountain View Cemetery, Oregon City
10:53 a.m. Calvary Cemetery, Mount Angel
11 a.m. North Plains Veterans Park, North Plains
11:10 a.m. Veterans Memorial Park, Beaverton
11:14 a.m. Forest View Cemetery, Forest Grove
11:20 a.m. City View Cemetery, Salem
11:22 a.m. Abiqua Valley, Silverton
11:30 a.m. Touchmark Home Health & Home Care, Vancouver, Wash.
All passes will be approximately 1,000 feet above ground level and about 400 mph airspeed – below supersonic speeds that can cause sonic booms.
Flights could be canceled or times changed due to inclement weather or operational reasons, The Oregon Air National Guard said in a press release.
